Synopsis

Considered to be one of director Sun Chung's best works, The Deadly Breaking Sword elevated Sun to the ranks of martial arts film director royalty. Starring the living legend Ti Lung, Taiwan kung-fu queen Shih Szu and the cheeky, Jackie Chan's kung-fu comedic rival Alexander Fu Sheng, famed fight choreographer Tang Chia had a field day exercising his skill allowing the stars to shine brighter than ever before. Armed with a special sword technique where he leaves a piece of his sword in his opponent, Tuen Cheng-tsin (Ti Lung) unites with thief Ko Mun (Alexander Fu Sheng) to defeat the assassin Lin Sam who is under the acupunctured-control of the evil Doctor Kuo. Alexander Fu Sheng's use of a mid-sized tree as a weapon is just wild to witness.
