Synopsis

The beloved team of director Chu Yuan and novelist Ku Lung are back in the Clan. Following such hits as Killer Clans and Clans Of Intrigue, these two titanic talents combine with revered martial art choreographers Tang Chia and Huang Pei-chi for another atmospheric, character-rich, action-packed adventure in the "Martial-art World". The title sect is but one group looking for a mysterious highwayman a roadside robber who is not only masked and clad in a red robe, but who embroiders flowers on handkerchiefs. Even worse, the thief not only steals from the rich, but then blinds them as well. Only noble swordsman Liu Yung (the actor who co-starred in every one of Bruce Lee's finished films) agrees to help stop the criminal. Along the way he faces a killer nun, a female gang leader in red shoes, the women of the Scarlet Embroidered Shoe Society, and almost more swordplay than he can handle.
