Plot Outline:
With the production budget as high as 130 million Chinese yuan, the 60 episodes teleplay Journey to the West is acclaimed to be the No.1 Blockbuster Chinese TV series ever produced. To advance the special effects, costume make ups, set piece and props in this TV series, producer Zhang Ji Zhong found its first collaboration with the best visual effect crew in Hollywood - the award-winning crew from The Lord of The Rings.

The story is based on one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature “Xi You Ji” (Journey to the West), telling the mythologized legends around the Buddhist monk Tripitaka (starring Nie Yuan)'s pilgrimage to India (known as the Western Regions) during the Tang dynasty in order to obtain Buddhist religious texts called sutras. The emperor of Tang Dynasty gives this task to the monk. Tripitaka’s three protectors in the form of disciples — namely Monkey King (starring Wu Yue), Pigsy (starring Cang Jin Sheng) and Sandy (starring Elvis Tsui), they have agreed to help Tripitaka as atonement for their past sins.

Along the journey, they have to overcome a series of difficulties and sufferings; and fight against numerous fierce monsters and demons. In order to complete the pursuit of pure and majestic sutras, they have to face 81 tribulations, including but not limited to Monkey King wreaks havoc in the Palace of Heaven, three battles with White Bone Demon, tame the Holy Baby King, falling in the Spider Silk Cave accidentally and extinguish the Flaming Mountain, etc.

Plot Outline:
After graduation, friends Zheng-nan and Dan-ping take up jobs as news-anchor trainees in the same television station. Soon, both become new anchors and so starts the struggle of ambition and betrayal between them, culminating when Yi-park(Zhang He), a news producer and the love of Zheng-nan, falls for Dan-ping and marrying her. The excitement, intrigue and action in these incidents are well dramatized, with one event firmly intertwining with others, developing into a vendetta involving the offspring of several families.  Caught in a family feud, Fox Volant has also fallen in love with the daughter of his father's killer.  The story ends with a fight between Fox Volant and his sworn enemy.
